- Through this partnership, AdvisorConduit runs the initial exploratory efforts while our M&A partner group creates strategy, facilitates buyer introductions, and finalizes the closing process
- What fee is charged to the seller? Who pays for it?
- AdvisorConduit and our M&A partner’s fee is 6% of the closing price, which is typically paid for by the buyer
- What are my post transaction options?
- More frequently, sellers are creating post transaction roles for themselves, continuing to work in a capacity of their choosing while also enjoying a liquidity event via asset sales
- What is the typical selling timeline?
- While it is entirely deal dependent, typical timelines are 3-12 months from start to finish
- What is the typical purchase price structure?
- Being that majority of buyers in the industry are bank finance ready, sellers typically receive 60 – 70% of cash at closing, with the remainder parked in escrow for roughly 2-3 years. The amount in escrow is based on client retention

- No. Once an introduction is made, the buyer and seller, together with their respective professional advisers, handle diligence, valuation, negotiation, documentation, and closing.
